OUR HISTORY
Kometa is one of the leading meat companies in Hungary. Our company’s history began more than 70 years ago in the Italian mountains. Since then, members of the Pedranzini family have returned here regularly to learn and carry on the teachings of their grandparents: a belief in honest work and respect for tradition, resulting in high quality food on the tables of our customers.
Our goal is to be the Hungarian champions of the European meat industry by 2030.

We strive for sustainability in all our assets: we use our own water, install solar panels and aim to achieve 90% energy independence with future developments.
We are also expanding our production space to become an even bigger player in the European market, while ensuring the smooth running of the company and compliance with environmental regulations.
