Team Polti VisitMalta not only delivered an outstanding performance at this year’s Giro d’Italia, but also proved itself at the 2026 Tour de Hongrie, held May 13–17. The team also claimed the prestigious title of “Best Team of the Race,” a well-deserved recognition of the riders’ perseverance and determination, particularly their resilience in the face of windy, stormy, and challenging weather conditions.

KOMETA also actively contributed to the festive atmosphere of the event: on both days of the Tour de Hongrie, it welcomed visitors to its own tent with fun activities and gifts. The wheel of fortune had a surprise in store for every visitor—those who spun the wheel to reveal the phrase “Buona vita!” (meaning “good life”) could immediately choose a gift, while others could earn KOMETA gifts by completing various tasks, such as taking selfies, riding an exercise bike, or aiming for a target—to win KOMETA gifts. One thing was certain, though: no one left empty-handed.

A special moment at this year’s event was that, on the section between Kaposvár and Szekszárd, the field passed right in front of KOMETA’s Kaposvár factory, allowing the company’s employees to cheer on the competitors in person.
