Milan and his family have been lucky in various prize draws, but the kitchen renovation is a particular highlight.
KOMETA’s autumn national competition was all about the kitchen. In addition to 280 IKEA gift cards and 8 Samsung fridges, the main prize was a HUF 2 million IKEA Dream Kitchen voucher for the Bita family to use in their home. We talked to the lucky winner.
Milán is a chef by trade, he loves to cook, and he and his partner often cook together, but now that they have a new kitchen, they plan to dive into the world of baking. They were delighted to win the prize, they have been wanting to renovate their kitchen for a long time, and perhaps not coincidentally, it is Milan’s favourite room in the house.
As the man is undergoing kidney dialysis, he can only work 4 hours a day – he works in the mornings and attends treatment in the afternoons – so this “really helped a lot” to be able to use the prize money to renovate the kitchen.
Milán and his partner are fans of Hungarian cuisine, but they also like Italian food. They usually start their mornings with cold or hot sandwiches, but they also often have sausages and eggs with bacon on the menu. Lunch is almost always a cooked meal, and dinner varies. He and his partner enjoy the full range of KOMETA products, with their joint favourites being Gourmet Bacon and Oven Baked Caesar Bacon, and Milan’s favourite is home-made pork cheese.
