For seasoning:
- 200 g bacon
- 4 tsp honey
- 3 purple onions (100 g/onion)
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- salt, pepper
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 200 ml dark beer
For the sauce:
- 5 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tbsp BBQ sauce
- 1 tsp honey
- 4 slices of pickled jalapeño
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
For the meat:
- 2 packages of pork-beef hamburger meat
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- salt, pepper
- 8 slices of cheddar cheese
To assemble:
- 4 hamburger buns
- 30 g butter
To serve:
- 500 g frozen French fries
- plenty of cooking oil for frying
- salt
- 1 tsp smoked red paprika
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper

Preparation
Start by frying the bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat, then drizzle honey over them and cook until caramelized.
Cut the purple onions in half, sauté them over low heat in a little oil, and season with salt as you go. Once they’re translucent, add freshly ground pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and dark beer, and let it simmer until the beer has evaporated.
To make the sauce, mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and BBQ sauce with the honey, finely chopped jalapeño, and apple cider vinegar.
Start by frying the hamburger patties in a little oil, season them with salt and pepper, then flip them over and season the other side with salt and pepper as well. Place two slices of cheese on each patty, cover, and let the cheese melt with a little water.
Fry the potatoes in plenty of oil heated to 180 degrees, then toss them with the spices.
Let's start assembling the sandwich. Sauté the buns in a little butter, then spread the sauce on both halves. Place the meat on the bottom half, followed by the honey-glazed bacon, and then the brown beer-glazed purple onions. Top with the other half of the bun, and it’s ready to eat.
