Kaposvár Húskombinát was formed by the merger of the meat industry and animal transport companies

1994

the meat processing plant is privately owned by Italy

1999

following a change of ownership, the name KOMETA '99 Kft. is born

2006

the meat plant is majority-owned by the Italian Pedranzini and Ruffini families and continues to operate as a limited company under the name KOMETA '99 Zrt.

2015

the majority of the formulation products are allergen-free

2016

product development continues: our products are now also glutamate-free

2018

launched our salt reduction programme, which has reduced the salt content of a significant proportion of our formulated products by 25%

2020

complete rebranding, portfolio restructuring: in addition to the already existing and popular KEMENCÉS, FRISS and GYORSVACSORA product lines, the ÚTRAVALÓ, ÍNYENC and PEDRANZINI SELECTION product lines are born; due to the international plans of the brand, the accent is removed from its name and the brand name is changed from KOMETA 99 Zrt. to KOMETA
